Guidance notes
At lower levels of complexity, work-based the tasks are routine and straightforward. At higher levels the complexity of your work increases significantly. You may be expected to resolve complex issues in unpredictable contexts, contribute to policy and strategy, understand and leverage emerging technologies for business value.
Managing complexity involves skills in prioritisation, planning, and adaptability, alongside technical or professional expertise. It can be measured by the level of problem-solving required, the nature and number of stakeholders involved, and the impact of decisions made.
