Crawford is an independent Information Systems Security and SFIA consultant. Crawford provides converging principles of Cyber security together with physical security considerations allowing for full life-cycle project management and delivery of a secure environment for a business to operate and innovate without fear of corporate espionage or theft.

With an excess of 29 years progressive experience in technical information systems management and security programme delivery to Her Majesty’s Services; Crawford finished as the head of the Information Systems trade group in the British Army.

A broad networking, telecommunications and service management background has enhanced his business acumen to allow for an expertise in providing a risk wrapper around the business requirements ensuring the systems provided are secure and meet the business needs. His ability to look to the future and ensure that governance, policy and strategy are in place for future enterprise architecture design allows for continual service improvement for developing systems.

Crawford has a continued roadmap and affiliation with professional and charitable organisations and is a chartered fellow of the British Computer Society and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.

Academically qualified Crawford has an MSc in Information Management and Technology through Cranfield University and professionally qualified as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
