Grant Nicholson

Grant has over 30 years experience within the Australian Government, including 25+ years in ICT and digital service delivery. Grant has solid experience in delivering client focused ICT services and managing and developing the skilled workforce necessary to deliver robust user centred digital services.

Grant has a particular focus on facilitating digital capability uplift through the clear definition of digital workforce capabilities (skills, knowledge & behaviours) and building career pathways that link them logically. Having more than 30 years experience as a public servant, Grant understands and supports government agencies in their ICT and digital workforce management and transformation.

Grant has also delivered ICT services first hand, in many Australian Government ICT roles, in disciplines such as ITIL Service Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Governance, Workforce Planning, Strategic Planning and Operational Planning.

Grant supports the Australian public sector SFIA community by providing guidance and resources, running a community of practice and workshops, being on the SFIA Council and supporting the Australian representative on the SFIA Foundation Board.
