#1344 Role of embedded systems and edge processing design change request deferred

Solution architecture is increasingly becoming cloud-based. With the integration of embedded systems / IoT with mainstream applications, solution architecture needs to take cognisance of the special requirements of edge processing sub-systems, i.e. unmanned systems, low power availability, limited bandwidth, uncontrolled physical environment, that have a bearing on the overall solution architecture and design. The skills needed for this must reflect  at Level 5 at least, and perhaps at higher levels also.
