Simplified URLs for quick access to SFIA content
Support for embedding links in your web pages and other documents
Many employers and other SFIA users embed links to SFIA skills in their web pages and other documents. To help them, we've upgraded the URL scheme for accessing SFIA skills pages. This enhancement is designed to:
- Enable rapid access to specific skills using predictable URLs.
- Facilitate the creation of links to SFIA skills in your documents, webpages, and applications.
- Provide longevity for your embedded links with future SFIA versions.
How to Use the New Scheme
For direct access to a skill, you can use structured URLs like:
- For version 9 of the BUSA skill:https://sfia-online.org/en/skillcode/9/BUSA
- In German: https://sfia-online.org/de/skillcode/9/BUSA
- In Spanish: https://sfia-online.org/es/skillcode/9/BUSA
- https://sfia-online.org/en/shortcode/9/SYSP - using /shortcode not /skillcode so the same url pattern works for skills and generic attributes
- For version 8 of the INOV skill:https://sfia-online.org/en/skillcode/8/INOV
- In German: https://sfia-online.org/de/skillcode/8/INOV
- In Spanish: https://sfia-online.org/es/skillcode/8/INOV
Or without specifying a version number, which redirects to the current version:
For direct access to business skills/behavioural factors, you can use structured URLs like:
For direct access to a level of responsibility, you can use structured URLs like:
- For version 8 of Level 1: https://sfia-online.org/en/lor/8/1
- For version 9 of Level 1: https://sfia-online.org/en/lor/9/1
- For current version of Level 1: https://sfia-online.org/en/lor/1
- For current version of Level 1: https://sfia-online.org/en/lor/current/1
- In German: https://sfia-online.org/de/lor/current/1
- IN Spanish: https://sfia-online.org/es/lor/current/1
