SFIA Partner Licence (New)

The SFIA Partner Licence is designed for organisations that wish to exploit SFIA commercially in support of the sale or delivery of products or services to customers, and for those offering qualifications, certifications or other services (for example: training courses or rate cards for hired staff) to help the marketing of those services by showing how they relate to SFIA skills.

Purpose and Scope

The SFIA Partner Licence allows your organisation to:

  • Map your service offerings to SFIA.
    • Publicly show how your offerings (such as qualifications, certifications, training courses, rate cards or other services) and SFIA. 
  • Use SFIA content and structure in the design, promotion, and delivery of products, services, or training.
  • Offer consultancy and advisory services that make use of SFIA.
  • Apply to deliver  Accredited SFIA Training (requires additional approval).
  • Apply to establish a SFIA Approved Assessment scheme and issue endorsed digital badges (requires additional approval).

The SFIA Partner Licence is available to cover exploitation of SFIA in a single country or globally (Global Partner Licence).

Requirements of this licence

To maintain the SFIA Partner Licence, your organisation must:

  • Agree to the General Terms and Conditions and the SFIA Partner Licence terms in place at renewal.
  • Ensure that all public use of SFIA (e.g., mappings, references, rate cards, training materials and/or marketing materials) is accurate and up to date.
  • Pay the current SFIA Partner licence fee.
  • Pay any outstanding/additional applicable fees if providing SFIA Training or products that directly integrate SFIA data. This includes royalty payments based on product revenue.
  • Continue to have SFIA consultancy, SFIA mappings and SFIA training undertaken/overseen by SFIA Accredited Consultants who may be on staff or under associate agreements.

Annual fees

  • SFIA Partner – £2,000 (If operating under one of the National Whole-of-Country SFIA Licences, then free of charge)
  • Global SFIA Partner – £4,000 (If operating under one of the National Whole-of-Country SFIA Licences, then £2,000 uplift is due)
  • For products dependent on SFIA – 5% royalty
  • Accredited SFIA Training – £75 per trainee
