AI concepts register

Search everyday AI terminology and see which SFIA skills it draws on, with an indication of how central each skill is to that concept. A starting point for exploring SFIA's relevance, not a substitute for reading the skills themselves.

AI terminology is drawn from SFIA 9 — A framework for AI skills, Lightcast Open Skills and CWA 18398 Annex K. The terminology sources are credited for the terms considered; the mappings are the SFIA Foundation's own.

SFIA and AI

SFIA already describes the professional skills behind AI work, and stays deliberately technology-neutral so those descriptions remain durable as tools change. This register makes that existing coverage easier to find. The framework is under active review for SFIA 10, including how working with AI and AI-assisted practice are reflected.
