#1471 Contract management Level 7 change request pending
Add a level 7 description for Contract management
We propose the following Level 7 description:
- Authorisation authority for significant contracts
- Sets direction and provides resources and support to ensure that contracts continue to align with the strategic goals and priorities of the organisation
- Acts as the escalation point for major disputes with stakeholders
- Promotes strategic alignment between the needs of the organisation and the capability/expectations of suppliers
Rationale for this suggestion
There is no Level 7 skill description currently. We observe officers operating at Level 7 who have responsibility for, and are actively engaged in, contract management as described above.
This proposal was developed through a collaboration between the Digital Sourcing Network and the APS Digital Profession.
